An organisation wishing to provide aircraft airworthiness services as well as all commercial air transport operators must be approved as aircraft continuing airworthiness management organisations and obtain an appropriate approval certificate.
Any amendment to the organisation's approval must be approved accordingly.

Process description

  1. submission of application
    Application for an airworthiness management organisation approval certificate or for an amendment to the certificate, accompanied by an operating manual/exposure

  2. conformity assessment
    The evaluation of the documents submitted by the applicant and the performance manual regarding compliance with the requirements of regulatory documents shall be evaluated. After evaluating the dossier, an organisation audit shall be carried out to verify how the procedures have been put in place in life. The applicant shall be informed in writing of any irregularities detected.

  3. issuing a Certificate
    Following the evaluation of the dossier and the audit carried out, depending on their results:
    - an approval certificate shall be issued to the organisation if no irregularities have been established;
    - the organisation is informed of any irregularities detected
    After the non-compliance has been rectified, when the CAA is satisfied that the non-compliance has been corrected properly, an approval certificate shall be issued to the organisation
