The CAA and the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) have jointly carried out an assessment (assessment) of Riga Airport airspace, analyzing the integration of unmanned aircraft flights in this area. Latvia is the first country in the European Union to develop such a detailed assessment for unmanned aircraft flights, the conclusions of which will be used to develop a methodology for the integration of unmanned aircraft in general airspace in Europe based on this information and experience.
